Southgate College Learndirect Centre offers a range of courses in Maths, English and IT (level1 & Level 2).

Whether you want to gain promotion at work, change to a more rewarding job or to help your kids with their homework, our courses could help you. The centre is operated by trained and qualified staff, who will support and assist you in meeting your learning goals.

Learndirect courses are flexible, so they will fit around your lifestyle. You can study at the College and from home or work if you have internet access. The courses are broken into bite-sized chunks so that you can learn at your own pace.

Since opening in 2001, the Centre has delivered high-quality learning opportunities to its rich ethnic mix of learners throughout the borough. Our overall qualification success rate for this year was 10% above average for all of England, with ICT success rates particularly strong. The Centre’s dedicated learndirect team also constantly strives to meet the individual needs of every single learner who walks through the door.

Our continued success has led Southgate College to winning the learndirect Centre of the Year Award, sponsored by Becta, which recognises learndirect learning centres that have demonstrated outstanding performance in order to provide excellent customer care and tutor support for their learners.
