Material fee's, equipment, books, special clothing, etc From approx £5 to over £300 depending on the course. This will be discussed at interview.

Adult Learning Grant
If you are over 19 and studying on your first level 2 or level 3 qualification, for 12 hours or more per week, you may be eligible for this grant.

NUS Card
Most full-time students can get a National Union of Students (NUS) card, which will get you discounts in a lot of shops, cinemas and other places.
Travel
If you're aged 16-17 you can get a 16-17 Oyster card, which enables you to travel free on the bus. This application form can be obtained from the Post Office. If you're aged 18+ you can also get London Transport Student Travelcards - see www.tfl.gov.uk for more information.
Level 2 & 3 entitlement

Level 2 entitlement
If you are 19+ and haven't got a full level 2 qualification you may get free tuition if you are planning to study on a course marked L2E (level 2 entitlement)

Level 3 entitlement
If you are 19-25 and haven't got a full level 3 qualification you may get free tuition if you are planning to study on a course marked L3E (level 3 entitlement)
